We’re excited to announce v0.4.0, a major update introducing account and activity import status updates, and packed with usability and performance improvements.
This release focuses on improved account dashboard page, more informative and responsive activity import and account status updates, and various other performance and usability updates.
✨ Highlights
🚀 Updated User Dashboard
The new user dashboard shows a summary of all your accounts.
- View a summary of your accounts.
- Visual breakdown of your accounts market values via pie chart.
- See total market value of all your accounts in your preferred currency (configurable in Settings).
📜 Broker Activity Import History
- Full history of account activity import now available.
- Each log includes timestamps and activity summaries, including types of activity imported and skipped entries.
- Redesigned the activity file upload experience with more responsive visual feedback.
🔄 Background Account Update Status
- New status component shows background update progress for the account.
- Appears on Overview and Holdings pages while accounts are syncing.
🙋♂️ Interactive Brokers: Holdings Reflect IBKR Open Positions
- IBKR holdings now reflect open positions from the latest imported activity statement.
- This improves accuracy of IBKR portfolio holdings and quantities.
- Previously, we inferred holdings from imported activity alone, which led to inaccurate holdings due to missing corporate actions.
- This feature is enabled by default and can be toggled via Account → Settings → Use Open Positions to Update Holdings
🖌 Minor UI/UX Improvements
- Unified color palette, minor visual fixes
- More reliable tooltips in charts, general chart improvements.
- Refreshed Landing and Holdings pages for improved clarity.
🔧 Other Fixes & Performance Improvements
- One-click Delete All Holdings on the Account → Holdings page.
- Performance optimizations in DataCache and update logic, leading to faster account updates.
- More accurate updates for dividend-driven holdings with more accurate dividend activity parsing.
- Improved ticker symbol handling and parsing.
📄 Legal & Compliance Updates
- Added a new footer disclaimer.
- Updated Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages.
- Refined Closed Beta user sign-up disclaimer.
